It's been about 6 weeks since I started playing Brawl now, and in the meantime I've been getting snapshot after snapshot, well over 700 so far.

You might notice that a lot of them are of Lucario, that's simply because I main as the character.

Maybe this Lucario obsession of mine is getting a little sick...

In any case, I got some neat stuff done recently, first off, Brawl!
A brilliant breakthrough in Wii hacking has brought forth a great tool for Brawl players, the Snapshot Decryptor.
In a nutshell, you can take snapshots in Brawl, take them off your SD card and make them into jpegs! Ain't that grand? So here's a couple of my favourites.

I've been posting these and more on the Clockcrew Brawl Thread, on GameFAQs and Smashboards.com, people love them and it's great that I can share these.
Some people have even been using the images creatively for captions and YTMNDs.
I love taking screenshots, there are some brilliant things you can do, and some questionable.

In any case, Brawl Snapshots are now incredibly easy to share, so long as you're a Windows user.
I can't wait to see what the world has to share.

So recently, I thought it might be nice to have some sort of Lucario decoration for my room, so I did a little checking on my beloved play-asia.com.
Surely enough, they had one thing for sale a "Talking Luke Rio" figure.
...Luke Rio? Appears to be bad translation, ironically it sounds like it could be a real name that would fit a Lucario.
In addition to that, I got a nice Kirby Plush doll and a Zelda Gashapon Figure.

They all arrived in the mail today, very nice.
When I opened the box though I was a little surprised, I knew the Kirby would be big, it's listed as 30cm, but I was expecting "Luke Rio" to be small, it's listed as being 48mm...
It's actually 260mm, go figure.
Not that I'm complaining though, it just surprised me a little, haha.

And finally, third order of business, another Lucario comic.
So when I looked inside the box for Luke Rio, there was a little japanese leaflet about the toy.
Basically it's a talking toy, but it works with another toy, Sir Aaron's staff from that Lucario movie.
From the looks of it, presenting the staff to the toy makes it talk as well, but when I thought about that, wouldn't that be.... bad?
If you've watched the movie, Lucario was trapped in that staff for centuries and felt betrayed, so I decided to show this through a quick 2 hour comic.

And so I guess that's that, Brawl snapshots are awesome, Lucario and Kirby toys are awesome decorations, comic, well just say if you like it or not.

After I did that last comic, I felt like doing another in the same style, although this time I spent a lot more time on it and pretty much improved the process.

The whole basis is, what if Lucario ate a super spicy curry?
Lucario is a fighting and steel type pokémon, which means he is weak against fire.

I'm not really the kind to do fan-art, but this thought just got stuck in my head and I needed to get it out.

I'm embarrassed to have made this but at the same time I want to show it off, what a conundrum.

So basically, I couldn't stop thinking if they eat pokémon in the world of pokémon, and how one might re-act to the concept of doing so (especially if they're both similar in someway, say like, canine.)

I don't know if you saw, but a while back I was hoping for Lucario in Brawl, and made up a moveset that I thought would suit him, I'm going to dissect that now.

What I predicated will be bolded, what is actually in Brawl will be italic.

B - Aura sphere attack, charges like Mewtwo's Shadow ball, can be launched and then directed slightly with the control stick.
Yes, he uses Aura Sphere just like this, but without the guiding that I hoped for.

Forward B - Force Palm, hard to hit enemies with bunch successful hits leave opponents temporarily stunned, use to advantage, grab then, combo them, smash them, etc.
It IS Force Palm, but it works nothing like this. Lucario either grabs the enemy depending on range, then shoots his fist forward in a burst of aura energy, very effective but not paralysing.

Down B - Counter, blocks enemy attack with aura powers and repel it back at them, doubles % damage
I don't know about the 2x damage thing, but I was right on the money, he detects it and then launches an attack. Seems to have few frames for countering though, in contrast to Marth.

Up B - Quick Attack, just like Pikachu's quick attack (but obviously, not an electric attack as mistakenly done in Melee)
Wrong, he uses Extreme Speed, it's similar to Fox's Side-B, except it can be guided up or down, and then curved during movement. It's actually a very effective recovery move together with his wall-clinging ability.

Final Smash - Lucario manipulates aura to heighten his senses, which slows down gameplay for everyone except Lucario, doing so allows Lucario to make easy hits until he tires from using aura for the rest of the match.
Also wrong, Lucario uses what appears to be Hyper Beam. He jumps to the top of the screen, then shoots towards where you point the analogue stick. If it hits an enemy it can do about 28%, but it's very effective for ensuring a KO as it's hard to dodge.

So I was actually pretty damn accurate there, what I thought his final smash would be, ended up being a useful item anyway, the stop watch.

Oh, and here's the real kicker, Lucario has a unique ability that no other character does, as he takes more damage, he deals more damage.

0% - 1.00x damage
50% - 1.25x damage
100% - 1.50x damage
150% - 1.75x damage
200% - 2.00x damage

DAYUM, this is quite an ability we're talking about here, Lucario not easy to knock out either.

One other thing, he Down-Arial attack is extremely useful, he slows in the air and kicks his feet downward twice with aura bursts, it's actually pretty damage dealing.

Lucario in brawl? Not only did he make it, but he's a damn fine character to play as too.

Yup, my Brawl arrived today.
And so far, it kicks ass. Lots of it.

Already I've unlocked Luigi and Captain Falcon, and now if you don't mind, I'd rather be PLAYING BRAWL than posting here, ahahhahahahahhahahahahhaa.

One idiot even posted a WHOLE LIST of possibly leaked characters.

With only a few days remaining, actual leaks have sprung now, I've just seen them on a certain website, and they are absolutely authentic without question, thankfully they're not any NEW characters, just returning ones.

I'm gonna really have to hold back on the internet, I do NOT want to be spoiled. :)

It looks like Nintendo slipped up, and accidentally let Lucario, Ness and Jigglypuff be seen in their latest trailer!

This just makes me VERY happy, I've wanted Lucario in Brawl for a long time.

Edit: Today's update was the pokémon Manaphy, but interestingly, Sakurai noted about it being in a movie, and even did the body swap thing that it did in the movie too.
That only acts as credibility for Lucario's inclusion.

Aaargh, I just can't bear the wait any longer, it's been half a year, and I just want my Brawl now.

I just realised that I actually have all the cash I need to import it, so I've decided to import a copy of Brawl and a japanese Wii from Play-asia.com

Sure, I may not understand the trophy text, or the story mode to some extent, but fuck I'll still be able to play my beloved game, I can wait for some english soon enough, I'll get an English copy too.

I'm such a consumer whore.
