Do what makes you happy. There's Pico and Metal Gear solid stuff going on right now, try thinking about that. Maybe make a short series of small random flashes. Just do what you got to do.
I might be interested in doing a TGF2 game sometime, I used to make them all the time before I began flash animation.

If you really want to make a flash about Brawl, then do so. The people who would complain about it being "overrated as hell" shouldn't matter to you or anyone else. If they don't like video game parodies, that's fine, but what I don't really like is when they bitch about it too much and speak against it all the time. Regardless of what the naysayers say, whether you want to make that flash or not is up to you and no-one else.
Besides that, about Brawl, don't expect me to get it until 12th July since I'd like to have it as a birthday present. :)

Why wouldn't you do a clock movie right now? Unless you have a good reason not to! But you said you were doing a FBF short movie last year or somthing! What happened to that?
