I would like a 2D metroid game on the DS too, not just a half-decent FPS.
I might be interested in doing a TGF2 game sometime, I used to make them all the time before I began flash animation.

I agree with the idea of remaking Metroid II for the DS. My main reason for wanting it remade is because it's a Game Boy game and sadly, GB and BC games don't work on the DS and I don't feel like getting my old GBA out. If no Metroid remake, then at least a 2D Metroid game for the DS (What happened to Metroid Dread?). I enjoy both 2D and 3D Metroid games, but Prime Hunters was a disappointment. Maybe they could make a really good 2D game for the DS.

Sadly I have yet to play the snes games yet I have got Metroid Prime 1, 2 and 3 and I play them alot, they are very good games and you have a good style.

The truth is spoken, I never knew about this redesign one but sounds hella lot challenging. I should try to fond the ROM for it (or if you can give link maybe?)
Also I agree with Zero Mission, it's my personal favorite at the moment even it's so short.
But I DO hope that they would finish that Metroid game Nintendo had under planning for Nintendo DS but it never came out, sadly.

Have you done the 15% run on Hard mode on Zero Mission? That was freaking hard!
My main concern when it comes to Metroid Games is simply completely them.
Maybe I should try a 15% run sometime, easy, normal or hard.

I mean Zero Mission is the better of the two for that sort of thing, it's not so linear.

You have to try Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for the Wii. It is the best one!
I miss the sidescrolling platforming total pwnage of the old Metroid. Prime is good, but the old ones were a lot better.
