they should replace pikachu with him. although pikachu is an important character, he's getting kinda old.
He's the MASCOT for pokémon, you can't ditch pikachu.

I heard there'll be a trophy battle in which trophies become playable characters or something, Nintendo has been very mysterious about it all. But if that pokemon is a trophy then it'll be a playable character. With all the hype behind SSBB we'll never know who all the characters are until the games released and maybe a month after when everythings been unlocked.
i agree lucario kicks ass! he shoul def be in a brawl! lets start an ordanization to get that done!
Yeah I know Tom Nook will never be playable. Doesn't mean that I can't wish he was though.
I could kick @$$ with mewtwo but I don't think they would add lucario, I wish though, but I was hoping they would have Deoxys as a character :'-(.
if you played the diamond/pearl game, his trainer is also freakin awesome, i'm gonna get a costume like that guy's!
Lucario is a pimp....all he needs is a big Friggin sword....thats all.....big sword man.....that he can make dissapeer(probaly not spelled right but what the hell.) and reappeer(once again not spelled right, im not the best speller.)

Yes, Lucario would make a great addition to the brawl cast. Though whether or not it'll actually happen... I dunno.

It's already been pretty much confirmed that Tom Nook won't be playable, since he appears in the background of the animal crossing stage. :p
