Are you a Firefox user?

For years now, I've been a devout Firefox user for a number of reasons, it's improved speed, it's superior interface, and importantly it's customisability.

Using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer is a nice fresh feeling and even adds a little excitement to the internet, it's a useful tool and has a lot of features IE will never have because of it's ever expanding library of extensions and themes, I love it.

So, are you a Firefox user? Or maybe you still use IE? Maybe you even use Opera or Safari!

Personally, I use Firefox so much that I even bring a USB pen with me to college with a personalised portable version of Firefox, with all my settings and extensions ready.
My Firefox is set up to easily upload images to imageshack, notify me of new Gmail, enhance tab usage, download videos from youtube, block adverts, tell me the weather and a lot more, GOD I love this all.

If you're not using Firefox I recommend you give it a try, even the bare bones of the program surpasses internet explorer.

Yes, Internet Explorer is a buggy, unreliable, dangerous little piece of software. I am a Safari/NetScape user, and I haven't ever tried FireFox...maybe I will sometime. Anyway, this was an interesting piece of info. See you around the site.

From what I understand, Netscape somehow spawned Mozilla, which later became Mozilla Firefox.
So as a Netscape user you may be comfortable with Firefox.

I had Opera for awhile, until my mum deleted it and gave me crappy IE 7 instead.

No, it's not.
They both perform the same basic function, but Firefox Opera and Safari doesn't leave your system vulnerable the way IE does.

I personally use Firefox for many reasons... It's faster, looks better, can add some good features to it, Correcting vocabulary, and it makes me unlike most of the people around me (99% Egyptians use IE), but personally, when I'm downloading something I use IE, I feel it's better in this part, but it's not like I download too much)

I don't see why you would download with IE, I mean Firefox has a download manager.
You can even use external downloading programs together with Firefox with the right extensions.

The Spellcheck is a great feature though, for sure.

I would give firefox a try but I dont like changes! is it a lot more different than internet explorer? as in toolbar wise?

A LOT better, the toolbars are a lot more customisable, you can install an official google toolbar if you want and you can create a set of bookmarks on your toolbar too, it's awesome.

Yeah, I have safari. The only bad thing is you can't upload pics on newgrounds. It always tells me that they will fix it. They haven't. it says use firefox in the mean time, so i'll give it a try.

Try the latest version for macs, it's in BETA right now, version 3.

Havent realy seen the advantages of firefox from IE where ive tried firefox, but that may be because of the crappy pc's ive tried firefox on. Linux hardwares on the school to be precisely. (The entire system of the computers like went haywire twice a week, and the memory was realy bad. Worse than my many year old stationary computer with 2GB storage space. u heard me. WORSE! DO NOT USE LINUX!)

but i will try firefox. The bugs of IE has bothered me long enough.

You realise that the memory and storage space are in no way related to the operating system right?

Chances are that they're just shitty hardware, the Linux should've worked fine. (But why Linux? It's not a straight forward operating system like Windows is, and everyone in the school will use it.)

Firefox has a lot of advantages over IE, the only real problem with it is that it gets some big memory leaks. My Firefox is using 110,000 k of Memory right now.
