What an excellent scene to animate!

You just gotta love the battle against Magus, you really do.

Right down to the elements of the game it gets things right, to how he has the magic barrier and some of the techs used in game.

At times the animation was a little iffy, like the close up of Marle zooming out, her facial expression? Dodgily animated, but the camera angles used were superb.

Great job man, I love this flash.

Decent, considering when it was made.

You gotta admit this shows how different things were in 2003, there's no way this would get daily 1st these days.

That isn't to say that this is crap, it's decent but nothing special, so Crono beats the shit out of everyone, nothing to get excited over if violence isn't your thing but it's decently done indeed.

One thing that bothers me, a few times Crono leaves his sword behind, but he pulls out another, just how many does he have? :P

Why are my pants wet.

I'd leave a review in spanish, but I can't speak any. :(

Instead I'm just gonna say, nicely animated and I love the graphics, nice idea for a series too, I wanna see this continue!

What the hell was that?

As not only a video game clock, but a Legend of Zelda Clock I'm offended by the terrible quality of this submission and the "Star" of it.

The movie consisted of a barely animated LinkClock (disgustingly being a ball clock) and him just ranting about crap, and his clock repeatedly shrinking and expanding was just ugly, I've never seen it that badly done before.

None of his lines were funny, napolean dynamite probably has better lines than this submission.

TheGreatGrizzly responds:

fuck clocks. I fucking can't stand them. I only made this to make the rest of you look semi bad. actually I like clock movies. and I put no effort into this. sorry if your offended.

Haha, oh god, you even easter egg'd me! XD

Haha, as though it wasn't enough that this movie was a brilliant remake of the classic but there's great easter eggs (in the slight same fashion of mine) too, there's even one with me in it!

Seriously I love this movie, actually lip syncing Cats, the captian and the rest is a great touch.

Great work Sharingan. ;)

Hey, you even used Numa Numa for the credits like I did...

You must think, it is inspirated in your movies.
Good Job Rupee! Animator + Inspirator = You!

I <3 You! (not gay, lol)
Maybe... Some Day, I Add you to a Instant Messanger for talk.

It looks like you've improved greatly, arnas!

Heya Arnas, it's me, Harry, long time no see!

It's good to see you've gotten a lot better at this, you've even got some decent voice acting in there.

Keep up the good work man!

Quite simply the most brilliant thing ever.

Who needs LittleFoot or There she is 2 when there's brilliant animations like these?

You've got to make more, seriously.

An excellent quality animation with only 2 flaws.

Those flaws are pretty simple.

The first one is that there was already a cartoon on TV called Time Squad, it was about time travellers who went back in time and fixed historic events that went wrong. :P

The second is that although this is BRILLIANTLY scripted, when people talk there is very little body language, for the most part mouths just move, well, everyone except blockhead, he moves a lot. :)

Dispite those two minor flaws this movie is greatly excuted and I look forward to the other parts, I predict good things for this movie, well done!

The-Swain responds:

You're right about both, I think.

I went into IMDB.com to check if "Time Squad" was a taken name. The show, it seems, was not too popular or not well known, so I decided to go with it. Other than that, I hadn't ever actually heard of it.

As for the body language...I pretty much used up my month-and-a-half self-deadline on drawing backgrounds and characters, let alone scripting and tweaking the audio to get 10 minutes of film into under 5 MB. I just didn't have the time or the nerve to do any more with the characters. I'm aiming for more "action" and movement in Part 2, as there will be more fighting and less chasing in the conclusion.

And, thanks for the review :) Glad that it hit the spot.

This IS Clockcrew.

I don't care what you other guys will say about this, this movie sums up what the clockcrew should be immensely.

4 more years!

I might be interested in doing a TGF2 game sometime, I used to make them all the time before I began flash animation.
